How to reset the iMac password ?





If you forget your iMac or MacBook passwords don't be panic, it’s not a big deal to rest your password I will mention below some easy steps to follow.

Step 1: Press Command Key & R key then restart your iMac hold until you see a loading apple icon.

Step 2 : It normally take some time to load so be patient in few minutes you will get into a Recovery mode.

 Step 3: Left top you can see Utilities Tab in menu bar in that choose Terminal 

Step 4: Type Resetpassword and press enter, you will get a popup menu to choose which account you have to reset the password.

Step 5: Once you select the account enter the new password or leave the field empty and save.

Step 6: Now Restart the computer normally you will get the login page try with the new password.
